LINGUISTIC PROFICIENCY
The following attachment is an essay I wrote for the Spanish Civilization & Culture course that I took while studying abroad in Sevilla. The purpose of this assignment was to explore a significant cultural difference that we had observed since arriving in Spain, comparing it to what we were more familiar with in American culture. I chose to discuss the differences in the perception of time in Spanish culture vs American culture.

Throughout the semester, we were tasked with creating an imaginary company for a Spanish-speaking country. After coming up with the idea to create a tequila company based out of Mexico, we were tasked with creating advertisements, brochures, and eventually a final website to share information about our company, Tequila Patriota.
CULTURE/LITERATURE
The attached essay was written for my Spanish Contemporary Literature course that I took while studying abroad in Sevilla. For this assignment, we were tasked with picking a contemporary Spanish author who has had a significant impact on modern Spanish society. The following coursework sample was written for my History of Latin America course. This was an immersive assignment designed to put the students in the shoes of a Spanish conquistador during the 1500s, writing home from the New World. Based on prior readings that we had done for class, I chose to focus on the impact of La Malinche, an indigenous woman who helped guide the Spaniards through their conquest of Mexico.
BUSINESS COMPETENCY
The button below will bring you to a video presentation that I created for a Business Communications class. Throughout this course, we had the objective to select a small business and focus on creating a plan to help it improve or grow in some way. After researching and drafting several proposals, we finished the semester by creating a video presentation that could be sent to the company, focusing on a specific proposed idea to help grow the business.
The attached presentation was created for an International Marketing course. For this final project, we were tasked with choosing a beauty influencer from a foreign country and researching how they have made an impact on their market. With my focus being on Brazil, this presentation explores the influence of Bianca Andrade, an extremely successful face in the cosmetics industry, especially in her home country, Brazil.
