Campus Involvement
On this page you'll find information about the many ways I've been able to get involved on Clemson's campus!
01
Clemson Club Field Hockey
One of my favorite things I've done at Clemson has been playing on the Club Field Hockey Team. I joined this team immediately when I arrived to Clemson freshman year, and since then I have met some of my closest friends, traveled to several schools for tournaments, and served as club President. In my role as President, I helped the club grow to become a high-level competitive team by implementing tryouts and cuts, and working to create a fun but serious environment. The growth that this team has experienced over the past four years is incredible, and I'm very proud to know that I have contributed to that.

Campus Rec Employee
During my second semester of sophomore year, I realized I wanted to start working an on-campus job. Because I had several years of lifeguarding experience, I began my search at the gym inquiring about available lifeguarding positions for the on-campus pool. Since then, I have been a Clemson Campus Recreation Employee, working as both a lifeguard and a swim instructor. In addition to an average 10 hours of lifeguarding work per week, I also provide swim lessons to Clemson students who are looking to develop their swimming skills. This is something I'm very passionate about, as I see swimming not only as a very enjoyable activity, but also as a crucial life and survival skill. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working as a lifeguard for campus rec, and I even earned the Employee of the Month award this past October!

CEA CAPA Student Alumni Ambassador
Since my time studying abroad, I've developed a deep passion for global engagement, and I strongly believe that everybody should study abroad if given the opportunity. Because of this, upon returning to Clemson, I began working as a Student Alumni Ambassador for CEA CAPA, the company that I did my study abroad through. In this role, I work with other ambassadors to organize informational sessions, tabling events, and other outreach activities on Clemson's campus. Our goal is to spread awareness about the study abroad opportunities for students at Clemson, and why it is so important to take advantage of said opportunities. This role has played a crucial part in developing my love of international education and has inspired me to consider pursuing a career within this field.
